The National Bicycle Greenway is envisioned as a "Coast 2 Coast" nationwide network of interconnected bike friendly roads and bicycle pathways that will connect cyclists to major cities all throughout the US.

Don and the relay team from Santa Cruz met at San José City Hall on the morning of June 10. Don was in Chicago for the proclamation reception on July 30.

When Don arrived in Washington, DC on August 10 he had travelled 3700 miles on his bicycle in 62 days. NBG Sponsor Larry Black of College Park and Mt Airy
Bicycles
got him all boxed up for his
train trip back home here in the SF Bay Area. Don returned to San Jose via Amtrak from Washington, DC on Sunday August 15.
